This affordable housing project consisted of the demolition of two existing buildings and new construction of two (2) wood framed apartment buildings. The first building is 2-story, 30,000 SF containing 30 resident units. The second building is 3-story, 40,000 SF containing 40 resident units. The facility also contains a 4,000 SF adult daycare. Durand Senior Apartments was funded through New York State’s Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program and NYSERDA incentives. The project received LEED Silver certification.
